Name Screening
DetectX® Name Screening uses AI-driven pattern recognition to identify high-risk individuals and entities, and to reduce the false positives that follow a list match.
The DetectX® approach
DetectX® identifies high-risk individuals, entities and the relationships between them, applying AI search and matching algorithms across global data sources.
Lists and sources are updated continuously and screening runs in real time as well as in batch, so a customer who becomes a match after onboarding is found without a manual re-run.
- AI enhanced search
- Matching that survives spelling, transliteration and word order.
- Real time and batch
- The same engine screens at onboarding and across the book.
- Multiple data sources
- Sanctions lists, PEP registers and adverse media in one check.
- Beyond names
- Entities and vessels, not only people.
- Automated four-eye control
- A second reviewer is part of the workflow, not an add-on.
- Link Analysis
- The relationships around a match, not just the match.
- Integration
- Screening called from the systems the work already happens in.
Key benefits and impact
The measurable gain is the alert volume an analyst never has to open. Fewer false alerts means the same team clears the queue without the review backlog that follows a list update.
Up to 98% reduction of false alerts, and up to 100% success in detecting true positives.
Why DetectX®
Name Screening is not a separate product. Risk person screening, white and watch listing, PEP identification, Link Analysis and adverse media checks are one workflow, so an analyst moves from a match to the relationships around it without leaving the alert.
Because it is a module on the same platform, a second capability is a module rather than a second system to buy, integrate and staff.
Regulatory requirements
DetectX® supports the FATF and GAFI recommendations, and is used against Swiss regulatory requirements including GwG, FINMA-GwV, VsB 16, KAG, FinfraG, FidleG, BEHG and KKG.
It also supports MiFID and EMIR reporting obligations, and BASEL II and III requirements.
